agent-browser batch accepts inline command arguments

Introduced 2026-04-06 · score 0.94

HOW TO USE IT

When running multiple browser commands in one invocation, pass each command as a quoted argument to `agent-browser batch`. Add `--bail` to stop on the first error; stdin JSON is also supported.

agent-browser batch "open https://example.com" "snapshot -i" "screenshot"
agent-browser batch --bail "open https://example.com" "click @e1" "screenshot"
echo '[ ["open", "https://example.com"], ["snapshot", "-i"], ["click", "@e1"], ["screenshot", "result.png"] ]' | agent-browser batch --json

WHY THIS HELPS

When running several browser commands as one invocation in a repository workflow, pass each command as a quoted argument to `batch`.

BEFORE THIS CHANGE

Before inline argument mode, batch read a JSON array of command arrays from stdin; use `--json` for structured output.

REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS

  • Version: v0.25.0
  • batch commands (required): Quoted arguments; each is a full command. Alternatively, pipe JSON via stdin.
  • --bail: Stop on the first error; default is to continue all commands.
  • --json: For stdin JSON mode, request results as a JSON array.
  • Prerequisite: Install agent-browser and run `agent-browser install` to download Chrome from Chrome for Testing (first time only).
  • The command supports quoted arguments or JSON via stdin.
  • `--bail` stops on the first error.

FIRST-PARTY EVIDENCE
