cf Pages Direct Upload accepts file parts for every binary multipart field

Introduced 2026-10-27 · score 0.97

HOW TO USE IT

For a Pages Direct Upload with an advanced-mode `_worker.js`, run `cf pages deployments create` with `--worker-js @./_worker.js` to upload it as a file part.

cf pages deployments create --worker-js @./_worker.js

WHY THIS HELPS

When creating a Pages Direct Upload that includes an advanced-mode `_worker.js`, pass the binary form fields as file parts.

BEFORE THIS CHANGE

`--file` only reached `_headers`; other files could not be sent.

REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS

  • Version: 1.0.0-beta.24
  • --worker-js: Worker JavaScript file; accepts literal content or `@path/to/file`.
  • Both literal content and `@path/to/file` forms upload as file parts.
  • Inline content uses the original form field name as its filename.
  • The uploaded file bytes and filenames are preserved.
