Introduced 2026-02-25 · score 0.97
HOW TO USE IT
When testing keyboard input or focus changes, if the target input is already focused, call `type_text` to type with the keyboard; use `submitKey` to press a key after typing if needed.
type_text({"text":"<text>","submitKey":"Enter"})WHY THIS HELPS
When testing keyboard input or focus changes on a page without accessibility identifiers, type into the already focused input.
BEFORE THIS CHANGE
Use the `fill` tools, which require a uid and force a focus change.
