chrome-devtools-mcp new_page supports isolated browser contexts
Introduced 2026-02-25 · score 0.96
HOW TO USE IT
For multi-user browser testing that needs separate storage, call `new_page` with a distinct `isolatedContext` name for each user; pages with the same name share cookies and storage, while different names are isolated.
new_page({"url":"<page URL>","isolatedContext":"<user context name>"})WHY THIS HELPS
When testing multi-user browser behavior such as chat or collaborative editing, create pages in named isolated contexts to separate their storage.
BEFORE THIS CHANGE
Create pages in the default browser context, where pages share cookies and storage.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
- Version: 0.18.0
- url (required): URL to load in the new page.
- isolatedContext: Context name; pages with the same name share cookies and storage, while pages in different browser contexts are fully isolated.
- The `isolatedContext` parameter is optional.
- Omitting it uses the default browser context; existing behavior is unchanged.
