Cloud Run service commands accept --public
Introduced 2026-11-03 · score 0.96
HOW TO USE IT
To make a Cloud Run service public, pass `--public` to `gcloud beta run deploy`. The release notes also list the two update commands, but their current reference pages do not show that flag.
gcloud beta run deploy <SERVICE> --image=<IMAGE> --publicWHY THIS HELPS
Make a Cloud Run service public from the supported deploy or service update command.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
- Availability: beta
- --public: Flag is optional in the synopsis; the release notes say it makes the service public by disabling invoker IAM checks and IAP.
- --image: Container image to deploy.
- The flag is available in the listed beta commands.
