Introduced 2026-10-02 · score 0.96
HOW TO USE IT
When debugging HTTP(S) traffic from an iOS app on an EAS simulator, run `eas simulator:start` with `--network-capture`; add `--network-capture-field` values to retain selected request data.
eas simulator:start --network-captureeas simulator:start --network-capture --network-capture-field header --network-capture-field query --network-capture-field request-body --network-capture-field response-bodyWHY THIS HELPS
Inspect HTTP(S) traffic from an app running on a simulator while debugging its network behavior.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
- Version: v24.10.0
- --network-capture: Enables recording HTTP(S) traffic from apps on the device; iOS only. HTTPS is decrypted, recordings contain credentials in cleartext, and certificate-pinned apps fail to connect.
- --network-capture-field <value>: Repeatable or comma-separated values: `header`, `query`, `request-body`, `response-body`. Adds selected data beyond method, URL, status, timing, and size. Defaults to none; fields may contain credentials. The docs do not state that values are mutually exclusive.
- Captures HTTP(S) traffic from apps on the device.
