HOW TO USE IT
When managing Flux resources, use kubectl-style `TYPE/NAME` arguments with `flux get`, `reconcile`, `suspend`, `resume`, or `delete`. For example, use `flux get hr/podinfo` or `flux delete ks/podinfo --silent`.
flux get hr/podinfoflux suspend gitrepo/frontend gitrepo/backendflux delete ks/podinfo --silentWHY THIS HELPS
Get, reconcile, suspend, resume, or delete Flux resources using kubectl-style resource arguments.
BEFORE THIS CHANGE
`TYPE/NAME` resolution was limited to direct children of `get` and `reconcile`, leaving sources and image types unsupported; the syntax was not extended to the other resource commands.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
- Version: v2.10.0
- TYPE/NAME (required): Resource type and name in kubectl-style form. Docs demonstrate short names, kind names, and fully qualified types.
- --with-source: The release note shows this flag on `flux reconcile`; its meaning is not documented on the official reconcile page read.
- --silent: Delete the resource without asking for confirmation.
- --wait: Wait for one resource to reconcile before moving to the next one.
