HOW TO USE IT
When configuring autoscaling for a managed instance group, set `--stabilization-period` to the number of seconds the autoscaler waits for load to stabilize before making scale-in decisions.
gcloud compute instance-groups managed set-autoscaling <MIG_NAME> --max-num-replicas=<MAX_REPLICAS> --stabilization-period=<SECONDS>gcloud compute instance-groups managed update-autoscaling <MIG_NAME> --stabilization-period=<SECONDS>WHY THIS HELPS
Configure how long the autoscaler waits to stabilize load before making scale-in decisions.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
- <MIG_NAME> (required): Name of the managed instance group to operate on.
- --max-num-replicas (required): Maximum number of replicas the autoscaler can set; required by `set-autoscaling`.
- --stabilization-period: Number of seconds the autoscaler waits for load stabilization before making scale-in decisions.
