Introduced 2026-06-30 · score 0.94

HOW TO USE IT

To test connectivity from a Cloud Run job, create a connectivity test with `--source-cloud-run-job` and a destination endpoint.

gcloud network-management connectivity-tests create <TEST_NAME> --protocol=<PROTOCOL> --source-cloud-run-job=projects/<PROJECT_ID>/locations/<REGION>/jobs/<JOB_NAME> --destination-instance=<DESTINATION_INSTANCE_URI> --destination-ip-address=<DESTINATION_IP_ADDRESS> --destination-port=<DESTINATION_PORT> --round-trip

WHY THIS HELPS

Run a connectivity test whose source is a Cloud Run job.

REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS

  • <TEST_NAME> (required): Name of the connectivity test.
  • --source-cloud-run-job (required): Cloud Run job URI as the source endpoint; example format: `projects/<PROJECT_ID>/locations/<REGION>/jobs/<JOB_NAME>`.
  • --destination-instance (required): Destination VM instance URI.
  • --destination-ip-address (required): IP address of the destination; it can be external or internal.
  • --destination-port (required): Destination port.
  • --protocol: Protocol for the test; defaults to TCP. For Serverless VPC Access connectors, only TCP and UDP are supported.
  • --round-trip: Also calculate return traces if the packet reaches the destination.
