HOW TO USE IT

To reply to an existing merge request discussion, run `glab mr note create` with the merge request ID, `--reply` set to the discussion ID or a unique prefix of at least 8 characters, and a message.

glab mr note create <mr-id> --reply <discussion-id-or-8+-character-prefix> -m "<reply>"

  • Version: v1.94.0
  • <mr-id> (required): Merge request ID or IID; the command synopsis also allows a branch.
  • --reply <discussion-id> (required): Reply to an existing discussion; accepts a full discussion ID or a unique prefix of at least 8 characters.
  • -m, --message <text>: Reply text. If omitted, the command opens an editor or reads from standard input.
