HOW TO USE IT

Before adding a Hugging Face marketplace skill, run `hf skills list` (alias `ls`) to see available skills and installation status. Then add the selected skill with `hf skills add [NAME]` and the desired location options.

REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS

  • Version: v1.15.0
  • hf skills list: --token TEXT: User access token for listing marketplace skills.
  • hf skills add: NAME: Marketplace skill name; the default `hf-cli` skill is generated locally.
  • hf skills add: --claude: Install for Claude; the docs say the skill is also symlinked into Claude’s legacy skills directory.
  • hf skills add: -g, --global: Install at user level instead of the current project directory.
  • hf skills add: --dest PATH: Install into a custom skills directory.
  • hf skills add: --force: Overwrite existing skills in the destination.
  • Prerequisite: The `hf skills list` command was introduced in huggingface_hub v1.15.0.
  • Installation status is shown for four supported locations: project, global, project Claude, and global Claude.
