hf spaces volumes lists, sets, and deletes Space volumes

Introduced 2026-04-16 · score 0.97

HOW TO USE IT

When updating a Space’s mounted volumes, use `hf spaces volumes ls` to inspect them, then `hf spaces volumes set` to replace the full list or `hf spaces volumes delete` to remove all volumes.

hf spaces volumes ls <owner>/<space>
hf spaces volumes set <owner>/<space> -v hf://buckets/<owner>/<bucket>:/data
hf spaces volumes delete <owner>/<space>

WHY THIS HELPS

Update mounted volumes while maintaining a Space from the command line.

REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS

  • Version: v1.11.0
  • SPACE_ID (required): Space ID, such as `<owner>/<repo-name>`.
  • -v, --volume TEXT: Mount one or more volumes using `hf://[TYPE/]SOURCE:/MOUNT_PATH[:ro]`; TYPE may be `models`, `datasets`, `spaces`, or `buckets`, and defaults to `models`. Models, datasets, and spaces are read-only; buckets are read-write by default. These TYPE values are alternatives, not documented as mutually exclusive across repeated volume options.
  • --token TEXT: User Access Token.
  • -y, --yes: For `delete`, automatically answer Yes to the prompt.
