jj revsets add forks()

Introduced 2026-07-02 · score 0.92

HOW TO USE IT

When you need commits with multiple children, run `jj log -r 'forks()'` to select and display them.

jj log -r 'forks()'

WHY THIS HELPS

Select commits with multiple child commits in a revset.

REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS

  • Version: v0.43.0
  • `forks()`: Takes no arguments; selects commits with more than one child.
  • `-r <REVSET>` (required): Passes a revset to `jj log`; `forks()` is the revset in this invocation.
  • Prerequisite: Use jj v0.43.0 or later, where `forks()` was added.
