Introduced 2026-06-02 · score 0.97
HOW TO USE IT
When restarting a k3d cluster, run `k3d cluster restart <name>`; omit the name to target the default cluster, or use `--all` to restart every cluster.
k3d cluster restart <cluster-name>k3d cluster restartk3d cluster restart --allWHY THIS HELPS
Restart a k3d cluster while working with multiple clusters.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
- Version: v5.9.0
- NAME: Cluster name; accepts multiple names. Defaults to `k3s-default` when omitted.
- --all, -a: Restart all existing clusters.
- --wait: Wait for servers and load balancer to be ready before returning; defaults to true.
- --timeout: Maximum wait time before canceling or returning; defaults to 0 seconds.
- Docs conflict: The v5.9.0 command reference lists cluster start and stop but omits restart; the v5.9.0 command implementation defines `cluster restart`.
