Pulumi Insights CLI adds account scan listing and retrieval

Introduced 2026-05-19 · score 0.92

HOW TO USE IT

When debugging an Insights scan, list recent scan IDs with `pulumi insights account scan list <account>`, then inspect one workflow run with `pulumi insights account scan get <account> <scan-id> --output json`.

pulumi insights account scan list <account> --org <org> --count 5
pulumi insights account scan get <account> <scan-id> --org <org> --output json

WHY THIS HELPS

Find a recent Insights scan and inspect its workflow run while debugging a scan.

BEFORE THIS CHANGE

The CLI had no way to discover scan IDs; scan list was added to provide recent IDs that could be passed to `pulumi insights account scan log`.

REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS

  • Version: v3.242.0
  • <account> (required): Insights account name; scan list on a parent account includes its child accounts.
  • <scan-id> (required): ID of the scan to retrieve.
  • --org <org>: Select the organization; accepted as a Cloud-Ready CLI global flag.
  • --count <n>: Set the scan list pagination count; `0` means `--all`. `--count` and `--all` are mutually exclusive.
  • --all: List all scans; mutually exclusive with `--count`.
  • --output json: Emit JSON output containing full per-job and per-step structure.
