railway redeploy adds --from-source
Introduced 2026-04-28 · score 0.92
HOW TO USE IT
When redeploying from the latest commit or image, run `railway redeploy --from-source` (the v4.44.0 release says this flag pulls the latest commit or image).
railway redeploy --from-sourceWHY THIS HELPS
Redeploy an application using its latest commit or image as the source.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
- Version: v4.44.0
- --from-source: Pull the latest commit or image when redeploying; the release note does not document further behavior.
- -s, --service <SERVICE>: Select the service; defaults to the linked service.
- Prerequisite: Authenticate with a Railway account before using the CLI.
- Docs conflict: The current Railway redeploy documentation does not list `--from-source`; it documents `railway redeploy [OPTIONS]` and the `--service`, `--yes`, and `--json` options. The release note for v4.44.0 explicitly adds `--from-source`.
