Redact sensitive Workflows step output in local dev
Introduced 2026-07-21 · score 0.94
HOW TO USE IT
When a step’s output should be hidden during local Workflow development, set `sensitive: "output"` in its step config. Run the Workflow locally with Wrangler; the output is redacted in step logs and step-output responses while downstream steps receive the real value.
await step.do("<step-name>", { sensitive: "output" }, async () => {
return <value>;
});npx wrangler dev
