HOW TO USE IT

When implementing or debugging a Shopify project and you need a Shopify.dev document, run `shopify doc fetch --url <shopify.dev-url>` to print its Markdown; use `--output <path>` to save it to a file.

REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS

  • Version: 4.3.0
  • --url <url> (required): Shopify.dev URL of the document to fetch; only shopify.dev and its subdomains are allowed.
  • --output <path>: Write the Markdown to a file instead of stdout; creates missing parent directories.
  • Prerequisite: Requires network access. The public endpoint needs no authentication, app, or login.
