HOW TO USE IT
When initializing a theme without interactive input, run `shopify theme init` with `--no-input` to use the latest stable Skeleton release. With interactive input, the CLI prompts for the Skeleton theme version.
shopify theme init --no-inputshopify theme initWHY THIS HELPS
Initialize a Shopify theme with the Skeleton theme when running `theme init` noninteractively.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
- Version: 4.8.5
- --no-input: Disables interactive prompts and browser authentication; use it for noninteractive initialization.
- [name]: Optional theme name; if omitted, the CLI prompts for one when input is interactive.
- Prerequisite: Shopify CLI installed; the official theme guide links to installation instructions.
- Prerequisite: Use CLI version 4.8.5 or later for the behavior in this card.
- Docs conflict: The current command reference describes `--latest` as downloading the latest release of the clone URL, but does not document the stable Skeleton selection behavior from the 4.8.5 release note. The invocation above does not use `--latest`. https://shopify.dev/docs/api/shopify-cli/theme/theme-init
