Introduced 2026-07-17 · score 0.96
HOW TO USE IT
To declare inbound addresses handled by a Worker, add the optional top-level `addresses` array to `wrangler.json` with literal addresses or `*@domain` catch-alls.
{
"name": "my-worker",
"main": "src/index.ts",
"compatibility_date": "2026-05-21",
"addresses": ["support@example.com", "*@example.com"]
}WHY THIS HELPS
Configure the inbound email addresses handled by a Worker in `wrangler.json`.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
- Version: 4.112.0
- addresses: Top-level list of inbound addresses routed to the Worker. Entries can be literal recipient addresses or `*@domain` catch-alls; catch-alls support apex domains only.
- Prerequisite: The current Email Routing documentation says this feature requires Wrangler 4.113.0 or later.
- Prerequisite: Before creating an Email Routing rule, add and verify at least one destination address.
- The field declares inbound email addresses handled by the Worker.
- Docs conflict: The Wrangler 4.112.0 release note introduces `addresses`, but current Email Routing documentation says the feature requires Wrangler 4.113.0 or later. The current requirement is for a newer version than the card.
